Happy Halloween! Today we went over the multiple choice from yesterday's class and discussed strategies for test taking. Additionally, students had the opportunity to work on their review guide.
Quarter 1 test is on Thursday!
Today, students used their Vocabulary lists 4, 5, and 6 to help them to answer practice multiple choice questions relating to the Constitution. They highlighted vocabulary words and looked them up if they did not know their meaning prior to answering each question. This is in preparation for our Quarter 1 test this Thursday.
Today we took Vocabulary Quiz #6. Afterwards we completed readings about the First Amendment and flag burning. Hard copies can be obtained from Mrs. Clemens or Ms. Rowland.

Today we finished discussing the Bill of Rights. We played Bill of Rights Bingo to review the concepts we learned.

I think that a great lesson to be learned is to never get kidney stones! Thank goodness I am feeling better and I was back in school today!
On Friday, students read the article "Can your phone testify against you?" and answered questions (see attachment. Today we took Vocabulary Quiz #5 and discussed how impeachment works.

Eek! I've been out the past 3 days and Ms. Rowland has been holding down the fort! Since I have been gone students have completed Vocabulary #5 (quiz tomorrow) and have been continuing to take notes on the Constitution.
Today, we discussed the process for electing the president.
