Our first 2-hour delay day! With our abbreviated schedule, we were able to brainstorm information for the prompt: Compare the arguments of those who defended slavery in the period from 1820 to 1865 with the arguments of those who opposed slavery in the period from 1820 to 1865. Students then created their own thesis statements. Tomorrow we will have a Thesis Throwdown!
