How to Help Your Student to Succeed
1. Ask them what they are doing in class, if they have any homework, if there are any projects or essays that are due soon, when is their next
test?
2. Help them to study- there is a big test every 5 weeks and a vocabulary or map quiz almost every Friday. When all else fails it’s always good to
go over their class notes.
3. Encourage them to review for the Regents Exam. Go to http://www.regentsrep.org to practice multiple choice questions, essays, or to do
thematic review.
